Too Sexxy!

Brandon and Jennifer met working together at Lascari’s. She was 16 and he was 20. They Considered dating, but since she was still so young and in high school and were both at different places in their lives, they both decided it would be best for them to just be friends. They stayed friends and continued working with each other. After she graduated high school they started hanging out a lot more. On New Years 2005 they were both at a NYE party and both didnt have anyone to share a kiss with at midnight, so when the clock hit 12, they decided, “what the hell” and went for the kiss. They have been together ever since then.
On April of 2010, Brandon planned a birthday party for Jennifer down in Newport Beach with her my friends. They all arranged to go on a Yacht around Newport harbor and celebrate. Mid way through dancing and drinking Brandon asked Jennifer to come up to the top of the Yacht. He seemed really nervous and she was very curious to why he was acting so weird. He then told me how much he loved her and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him in front of all our friends. It was a very special moment. Jennifer was completely shocked! He had to ask her a second time because she thought it was all some sort of mean joke. She was caught completely off guard. She obviously said yes and the rest is history!!!

Little did these two know that the restaurant they worked for will one day be catering their wedding, but that’s for a later topic, today we’re allowing you to be part of Brandon and Jennifer’s Fullerton Engagement Session.

We photographed Brandon and Jennifer at the SOCO district in the downtown fullerton. Later in the afternoon the background and cold weather brought out their affection and which made for some very sweet and romantic photos.

Brandon and Jennifer will be getting married at the Fullerton Arboretum.

3 reasons to check out Travis & Stephanie’s wedding

Beautiful, Crazy, Fun!

Several months ago, Travis popped the question to Stephanie with one of the most extravagant proposals ever. We photographed their engagement session in numerous locations around fullerton Ca. If you haven’t done so check out their engagement session here.

Months later Travis and Stephanie finished what they started on the beaches of Hawaii here in the heart of Fullerton. In a quaint location known as Villa Del Sol.

Travis rubbed his hands together nervously as he witnessed his bride walk beside the historical fountain in the center of the courtyard. She clutched onto her brother’s arms as they marched excitedly down the aisle. The anxiety, obvious in their faces, went away the moment Stephanie’s Brother handed her off to Travis.

As the sun went down and the daylight faded, the lights strung across the courtyard, above the dance floor flickered on and brought on the beauty of Villa Del Sol. Travis and Stephanie, joined by their family and closest friends, danced the night away. With hardly a dull moment throughout the night, this wedding was as fun as it was gorgeous.

Stephanie and Travis, we’d like to thank you for trusting in us to capture your gorgeous wedding. I can’t wait wait for you to see your wedding album, it’s gonna knock your socks off!

A beautiful wedding design at Rancho Las Lomas

We had the privilege of documenting a beautifully designed wedding at Rancho Las Lomas a fews weeks ago. The tigers were roaring and the birds were cawing.Weddings here are especially beautiful and picturesque. This restored early California rancho offers a private and intimate atmosphere, set amidst exquisitely manicured botanical and zoological gardens.
Cathy and Ethan wedding was the first to be shot at Rancho las Lomas after their bridal room remodel. Casa Linda, is a quaint cottage graced with sitting and dressing areas, a natural stone fireplace and private patio. The bridal party uses this charming room during weddings as a dressing area. With new furniture and design from Jeni Maus of Found, Rancho las Lomas was looking better than ever!

Lavenders Flowers brought in and arranged the amazing floral details for the wedding. A Good Affair wedding and event planning did an excellent job of coordinating and designing this intimate event. The weather was perfect and allowed the peonies in the bouquet to bloom beautifully. 24 Carats Catering from Irvine outdid themselves for this wedding’s meals. Isabel Gonzalez Videotique was the select videojournalist for that day.

As the guests enjoyed their cocktail hour, we made our way around Rancho Las Lomas. Beautiful lighting and an adorable couple made for the perfect images during their Romantic Session.

As we returned from the Romantic Session, the sun was on its way down for the night. Stephan Shanahan from Honored Occasions gave us just the right blend of romance and ambience for the cooling temperatures.

With the stars above us, Cathy and Ethan’s guests enjoyed beautiful music, the perfect temperature and most off all a newlywed couple who deeply love each other.

Congratulations to Cathy and Ethan for the fantastic wedding and the wonderful start to a beautiful life together.

Josh & Lisa’s Intimate La Venta Inn Wedding

Some of you may remember Josh and lisa from their Engagement shoot at the Santa Monica Pier. Lisa And Josh Came to me from a previous client Sommer Co Owner of So Cal Shutter Booth. I was fortunate enough to photograph Sommer and Scotts wedding a few years back. Thats where Josh Comes in. See, Josh is Sommer’s Brother and was the officiant for her wedding. Fast forward to last fall, When Josh and Lisa had their intimate wedding at La Venta Inn in Beautiful Palos Verdes. Lisa wore a beautiful Amsale wedding gown. While the bridesmaids wore gorgeous Jenny Yoo Dresses. Lsia Wanted to have her and her girls take advantage of the Palos Verdes Estates Coast line. So she decided on the Terranea Resort for the her bridal prep location. The view was stunning with beautiful blue skies to accent the gorgeous Palos Verdes coastal Landscape.

Josh & Lisa Decided to have a “first look” prior to the ceremony. Our attempt at having them spend so “alone time” prior to the ceremony was a success. It was a little tricky at this venue due to the size and the logistics to where the actual ceremony was to take place.

Sleepless In Seattle

Well lets just say these two were sleepless in Seattle! At least the night they met. :) See Scott is a huge Galaxy fan. (Soccer) He’s a season ticket holder. He decided to look at their away schedule and realized that Seattle would be a great place to travel for a quick weekend trip. So he and a friend went for it.

Michelle with a large group of friends decided to shoot up to Seattle for a fun filled weekend of friends, fun and soccer. After the game, Michelle and her friends decided to go to the local stadium tavern next to Seattle stadium. Being that they were all from LA, they were the only Galaxy fans in the building. So Scott and his friend, while at the bar not knowing anyone else there, found a great way to cruise on over to the table where Michelle and all of her Galaxy friends were.

Michelle playing a little hard to get, finally started to chat Scott up and they talked all evening long. The rest is history. When Scott and Michelle hired our studio they thought it would be a great idea to go back to Seattle. The city in which they met, to photograph their Engagement Session.

Never having been there myself I decided to get there as early as possible to scout the area for their shoot. Luckily people in Seattle are really nice and helpful! :) Here are some of the images from our fun Seattle Washington engagement shoot. I hope that you enjoy them as much as the time i had Photographing them.
