A beautiful wedding design at Rancho Las Lomas

Rancho Las Lomas Wedding Photography | Miguel Pola Photographers

We had the privilege of documenting a beautifully designed wedding at Rancho Las Lomas a fews weeks ago.  The tigers were roaring and the birds were cawing.Weddings here are especially beautiful and picturesque. This restored early California rancho offers a private and intimate atmosphere, set amidst exquisitely manicured botanical and zoological gardens.
Cathy and Ethan wedding was the first to be shot at Rancho las Lomas after their bridal room remodel. Casa Linda, is a quaint cottage graced with sitting and dressing areas, a natural stone fireplace and private patio. The bridal party uses this charming room during weddings as a dressing area. With new furniture and design from Jeni Maus of Found, Rancho las Lomas was looking better than ever!

Lavenders Flowers brought in and arranged the amazing floral details for the wedding. A Good Affair wedding and event planning did an excellent job of coordinating and designing this intimate event. The weather was perfect and allowed the peonies in the bouquet to bloom beautifully. 24 Carats Catering from Irvine outdid themselves for this wedding’s meals. Isabel Gonzalez Videotique was the select videojournalist for that day.

As the guests enjoyed their cocktail hour, we made our way around Rancho Las Lomas. Beautiful lighting and an adorable couple made for the perfect images during their Romantic Session.

As we returned from the Romantic Session, the sun was on its way down for the night. Stephan Shanahan from Honored Occasions gave us just the right blend of romance and ambience for the cooling temperatures.

With the stars above us, Cathy and Ethan’s guests enjoyed beautiful music, the perfect temperature and most off all a newlywed couple who deeply love each other.

Congratulations to Cathy and Ethan for the fantastic wedding and the wonderful start to a beautiful life together.

Pete & Michelle’s Beautiful Intimate Wedding

Several weeks back I had the opportunity to photograph a special wedding. A wedding of a dear friend. When I was asked to photograph this wedding I thought, “Wow what an honor”! I’ve known michelle now for about 12 years. Our friendship started out bitter sweet. Me being quite bitter after the first hair cut she gave me. See, she was my wife’s hairstylist.
Fast forward to May. Michelle wore a beautiful strapless wedding gown while Pete sported a tailor made suit. Pete & Michelle decided to have a first look to have some alone time prior to their wedding. They requested to have their first look at the Beautifully , newly renovated Pacific Palms Resort In the City of Industry. Michelle was quite nervous to show off her beautifully donned gown. Its always nice to know people in different venues.  We had full reigne of this beautifully landscaped hotel. We started out at the Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry. Their wedding was small and intimate with 45 of their closet friends atop of P Hill in the City of Industry.  After the Ceremony, We went over to the Homestead Museum for their romantic session.  Pete was the man! He was able to get us inside the museum.  Places where no one has ever photographed newly weds in. We were granted permission to use “La Casa Nueva”.  Pete  & Michelle Thank you for having me as your wedding photographer!  I truly enjoyed working the two of you and your wonderful families.

The evening was topped off by the catering of Colette’s Catering company. one of orange county’s finest event catering companies.

Orange County Engagement Session with Michael & Sarah

I was contacted by Sarah a few months ago, I said myself I know this familiar voice on the other line. Sure enough it was Sarah. I’ve known Sarah for a couple years now and when she told me she was going to marry this awesome guy by the name of Michael I said I have to see that for myself! Her comment was you will because your photographing it! Michael & Sarah are outdoorsy (is that a real word?) people and they wanted their images to represent that. So we headed to South Orange County for their Engagement Photography Session to one of my new favorite spots. Here are some of my favorite images of our engagement shoot. Enjoy
